Changing your legal gender

The new Gender Recognition Laws were implemented on 30 May 2025. We have updated our guide to reflect our best understanding of the process. We have been told that the process will take between 4-6 weeks from the time you submit your application. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with us!
